Intensity and Neurophysiological states.

The connection in safety.

Intensity and performance are often synonymous with overload, exhaustion, constantly pushing one’s limits, and being stuck in the fast lane.

Yet, intensity is also the profound experience of presence and connection in the moment, in nature, art, in the company of loved ones,… .

So, what is intensity?

The inner experience of overload or deep connection is not a quality of intensity in itself. Our current neurophysiological state influences this experience of intensity.

In times of danger, our body adapts physiologically and sensorily to react optimally to secure our mental and physical integrity. The intensity we feel is imbued with urgency, danger, and survival.

In a state of safety, our body reacts differently.

Without a source of danger, intensity becomes a profound experience in the moment, of play, creativity and connection.

Knowing how to increase the energy up to a certain limit, in a hybrid state of security and mobilization, we enter the ideal neurophysiological zone for performance.

Intensity is therefore not fixed. As in physics, it refers to a density of energy in motion with a direction, like e.g. a sound wave.

Stuck in a state of defense due to chronic stress, increased sensory and/or cognitive natural intensity,… the movement of energy and states fades.

Our own energy, at high or low intensity, becomes a source of fear, insecurity, emptiness, and overload. Access to our energy zones and intensity levels is disconnected.

Reconnecting and reviving the movement and amplitude of our energy and intensity, while remaining aligned with ourselves in an external context at all times, is at the center of my coaching.

Daring to fully embrace our personal energy often becomes the greatest challenge. Because our own energy has become a source of fear and doubt.

This is why I offer the Driving Experience with Coaching: Piloting Intensity.

In a safe yet intense environment, to dare to go all out in a state of security and connection.

To discover how to fluidly manage your neurophysiological states and intensities, in calm, performance, learning and recovery.

To discover and respect your own ways, needs and rhythms for learning, recovering and performing.

To reconnect with your own natural intensity, and with it, clarity, focus, and concentration—subtly adjustable.

And…the pleasure of learning to pilot a car on a racetrack.✨

Be. Your Own Pilot.
